Chadillac’s Favorite
Chassahowitzka River Adventure
This is Chadillac’s favorite paddling adventure by far. This spring-fed river was named one of the outstanding Florida waterways for it’s pristine, natural condition.
On this epic journey you get to swim through the limestone caverns (The Florida Aquifer) that make up the Seven Sisters. From there you go through a paddle downriver through more and even narrow waterways. This is on our way to a 30ft wide hole in the earth, referred to as “The Crack.” But not before we take one of the most beautiful walks you’ve ever taken.
If you love to swim, this one’s for you!

Posted on Iryna KukharskaJanuary 1, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We did a river tour lead by Garrett and loved everything. Would recommend!Posted on Concetta DidianoDecember 30, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After visiting chadillac adventures for the second time. It was a great experience, I was able to give the owner a call after booking online. I accidentally chose the wrong location. It was a very easy process to change. The owner is so nice! He assured me that a kayak will be there waiting for me. I was even able to see some sting rays this time. I was greeted my Garrick, he told me some great facts about manatees! Thank you again for a wonderful experience.Posted on Katrina Ahmad ZakiDecember 22, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Would recommend kayaking with him.Posted on Brendan CarrollDecember 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Went with Garrett, great guy! Five stars!Posted on Kevin WahlerDecember 7, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Here’s a fun, vivid comparison-style review of the two experiences—kayaking in beautiful Florida weather versus being stuck in a winter storm: --- Kayaking a Peaceful River in Florida — ★★★★★ (5/5) If serenity had a Yelp page, this would be its top review. Picture a slow-moving river, clear enough to see fish darting beneath you, the sun warm but not aggressive, and palm fronds swaying like they’re applauding your life choices. Kayaking here feels like you’ve stepped into a screensaver labeled Relaxation Mode. You glide. Birds chirp. A turtle lifts its head like, “Sup.” Even the alligators keep their distance like respectful locals who know this is your zen time. Pros: Warm sun, cool breeze Wildlife that minds its business A cardio workout disguised as a peaceful hobby Zero existential dread Cons: You may never want to return to normal life --- Being in a Winter Storm — ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5) Imagine nature putting your house in airplane turbulence mode for 12 hours straight. The wind howls like it's auditioning for a horror movie. Snow isn’t gently falling—it’s firing sideways at your face like tiny frozen darts. Everything you need is somehow outside: your car, your sanity, your will to shovel. Walking feels like a boss-fight. Driving? A survival quest. Your hot chocolate becomes a coping mechanism. Pros: Good excuse to cancel plans Cozy blankets If kayaking in Florida is a calm, uplifting meditation, a winter storm is an unpaid internship with the planet’s angriest ice machine. If you have the choice- choose Chadillac Adventures Every. Single. Time.Posted on Paulina CastilloDecember 3, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Overdue review! I had the pleasure of kayaking with my dog on Sunday Nov. 16 and it was so relaxing… my guide Garret was very kind, informative, and careful with me and my dog. He made the experience fun and easy. (I hope I remembered the right name, sorry if I got it wrong homie… it’s been a couple weeks) Highly recommend Chadillac Adventures as they were very thoughtful and accommodating to my needs. Thank you for your kindness! Appreciate yall.Posted on Brittany MuellerNovember 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chad is awesome!! Took our fanily on an amazing tour! We got to swim with a couple manatees, see a couple crabs, a baby alligator, and some beautiful spots with springs. Definitely recommend Chadillac Adventures!Posted on Brandon HeinenNovember 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chad brought us out on an amazing tour! We got to swim with manatees, dive through underwater caves, see natural springs, and view the flordia wildlife. Will recommend to anyone visiting Florida or living in Florida. 100/100 experience worth every $$! Thank you Chad!Posted on MyleenNovember 17, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Visited Florida for the first time, and had a once in a lifetime experience on Chad's tour. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. He knew the best spot and time for us to swim with manatee (1 kissed my leg) and even got to see a baby alligator. Underwater caves, springs and the fountain of youth were all things we weren't expecting, but thrilled to see and experience. Thanks Chad!
